April 01, 2022 – Today marks the start of another travel milestone in Singapore as the country transitions to the second phase of border re-opening!!! A decisive shift from the previous Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) to Vaccinated Travel Framework (VTF)
Here are the notable points for VTF:
This is coherent with the lifting of pre-departure testing by the Maldives authorities, which took effect last 13-March-2022. All visitors are no longer required to undergo a Covid-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) prior to entering the Maldives. All recent travel scheme streamlines the country’s border policies and procedures to create more convenient, safe, and seamless travelling.
We have certainly come a long way in our Covid19 journey. And everyone’s efforts and cooperation have contributed significantly to the tremendous progress made. So, now more than ever, we must continue to be vigilant and adhere to safety measures. And support Singapore’s intention to revive travelling by reconnecting with the rest of the world and reclaiming Changi’s status as an international aviation hub.
With this in mind, the thought of taking an overseas vacation seems to be a viable and practical option. You’ll get to enjoy a relaxing holiday while at the same time also helping the travel industry recover. Check out our attractive offers to the Maldives as our way of encouraging everyone to travel.
